My recent stay at White House Cottages was wonderful. The location in the quiet village was perfect, and I enjoyed visiting the nearby pubs for a relaxing evening. The accessibility to Durham was very convenient with the bus stop just around the corner. The fully equipped kitchen and close proximity to Tesco Metro made self-catering a breeze. The shower was excellent and I appreciated the thoughtful gesture of wine and biscuits upon arrival. The comfortable bed ensured a restful sleep. I had a great experience and would definitely stay again.

The location was spot-on, with a charming village and a cozy pub restaurant nearby. The loft room was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we needed, including delicious breakfast options. Plus, the surrounding countryside was simply breathtaking.
Although the cottage was cozy, we did notice a few cleanliness issues. The kitchen blinds had some splash marks and the bin had residue from the previous guests.

The loft was beautifully presented and felt much bigger than we expected. The modern and comfortable decor made us feel right at home. The shower had great water pressure and the coffee machine was a nice bonus. The views from both the front and rear were lovely. The communication with the owners was excellent, even though we didn't meet them in person. a fantastic stay.

We loved the well-equipped holiday home with free milk, a full set of kitchenware, and tea and coffee. the open plan kitchen and dining area with a dining table, chairs, and a sofa set was perfect for us as a couple. Having two TVs with access to all UK TV channels was a bonus. the host was friendly and the online payment process was smooth. the UK standard double bed was comfortable for a couple or a family with young kids.
We felt very welcomed and had nothing to complain about.

The host was very welcoming, baking a delicious cake for our arrival and providing tea, coffee, sugar, and milk. The bed was extremely comfortable and the cottage was cozy and clean. The location was convenient, with easy access to both Durham and Newcastle city centers.
Due to the hotel's location, it can be difficult to have food delivered. the main living area could be cozier in the evenings if the lights were on a dimmer switch.
